How to Change Your TudCloud VPS IP Address
Plan an IP change, use the available replacement action, and reconnect your domain and services afterward.
Before changing the address
An IP address can appear in more places than the server login window. Record the current address and make a short dependency list before making the change. Keep a verified backup and a working console connection available.
- DNS A and AAAA records, including any CDN origin settings.
- Firewall allowlists, monitoring targets, backup destinations, and API access restrictions.
- Application settings or licenses that bind to a particular address.
Change the IP in the control panel
- Sign in through the official TudCloud website and open the correct VPS service. Match the service name and current IP before proceeding.
- Find the IP replacement or Change IP action available for that product. Read any eligibility conditions, fee, or downtime notice shown there.
- Confirm the replacement once you are ready. Wait for the panel to report the result rather than submitting the same action repeatedly.
- Record the new IP and use it for a fresh connection. If network access is unavailable, inspect the server through the provider console.
Update and verify
Change the relevant DNS records and origin settings, then update address-based allowlists. Cached DNS answers may continue to point at the old address until their TTL expires. Test the application from outside the VPS, including HTTPS and any non-web services.
The channel describes this workflow as an IP replacement without an operating-system reinstall. Do not use Rebuild as a substitute: it is a separate, destructive operation. Availability and conditions are determined by the current service.
If the server does not respond
Check the new address in the panel, the guest network configuration, and both firewall layers. Avoid assuming that a failed ping means the server is down; ICMP may be filtered. Submit a support ticket with the service identifier and time of the change, without sharing passwords.
